Environment Art Manager

As Environment Art Manager I led a skilled small team of artists and was responsible for overseeing the development of maps and Party Mode visuals for Crash Team Rumble, including its various updates. I worked closely with team members to establish style guides and execute seasonal events effectively and played a key role in the planning of event skins alongside the Directors, ensuring cohesive and engaging in-game content for players.

Blues Beatdown

As the Senior Environment Artist for this map, my primary role involved the creation of gameplay-level geometry, detailed set dressing utilizing the array of Crash 4 materials and assets available, as well as the implementation of lighting and effects. I collaborated extensively with the Senior Design team to craft innovative visual concepts that seamlessly aligned with the level blockout design.

Party Mode Themeing

Collaborating with event designers and level designers, I created a set of Party Mode assets that went beyond mere aesthetic set dressing. These assets were gameplay-driven and designed to introduce an additional layer of gameplay to existing maps. Party Mode was intended to be a seasonal event that rotated in and out throughout the year. When designing these assets, I drew inspiration from temporary carnival rides—structures that could be set up and taken down fairly quickly. Ultimately, we settled on the inflatable theme, which not only added visual fun but also allowed for a wide variety of platforms, from bouncing surfaces to hovering elements and destructible objects. Since I was adding to already existing maps, we had to keep texture and poly budgets in mind. As a result, the entire set of Party Mode assets was created with just one tiling inflatable texture and a few smaller bespoke textures for one-off assets.

I oversaw a small group of talented artists who collaborated on enhancing the pre-existing visuals of a range of Rumble Maps. The focus was to create distinct looks for each team's side utilizing as many previously created assets and materials to elevate the overall art quality.

Winter Wonderland and Holloween Seasonal Set Dressing

Oversaw a small team of skilled artists, providing guidance and direction as they collaborated on developing seasonal assets for our highly anticipated Winter Wonderland and Halloween events. In close partnership with the VFX and Audio teams, I leveraged these assets to use as set dress and fine-tune the lighting.

Art Support

Working closely alongside the designers and directors, my role involved a wide range of responsibilities within the game development process. This included tasks such as crafting virtual currency renders and brainstorming innovative Hologram updates. The small size of our art team proved to be advantageous, offering us great adaptability and enabling swift adjustments in response to evolving design requirements impacting the visual presentation for the player.

Collaborated closely with Level Design and Art Director to develop a variety of unique and innovative alternative skins designs for the characters featured in Crash Team Rumble.

Call of Duty Warzone

Senior Environment Artist

Collaborated closely with the primary designer to develop an underground bunker geared towards rapid travel within the expansive Warzone Caldera Map. I tailored components within their Radiant Engineto to seamlessly integrate into current sealed doorways, strategically setting the stage for future campaigns. The room was textured using pre-established warzone materials. Additionally, I was given the opportunity to craft a distinct, custom doorway design that not only served its purpose but also left a lasting mark on various sections of the map.

Working within the Radiant Engine, I was tasked to fill in level design block out with previously built Warzone structures and assets. The goal was to take a random collection of buildings and assets and arrange them in an interesting and narrative way.
